This license qualifies you to fly any aircraft in the Microlight category. Unlike heavy or multi-engined aircraft, is all about accessible flying for private pilots that want fun low cost flying but still in a 'proper' aircraft.<\/p><p>Microlight is basically a weight category. For this reason, most modern microlights look indistinguishable to what most people would call a light aircraft and because of computer aided design and composites, somtimes microlights fly faster than bigger heavier planes. Fabric wings and open cockpits are in the past. And while your license will qualify you to fly old stuff if you want, you'll probably use your license to fly fast, composite aircraft with digital avionics.
